“You don’t have to be positive all the time. It’s perfectly okay to feel sad, angry, annoyed, frustrated, scared, or anxious. Having feelings doesn’t make you a negative person. It makes you human.”
- Lori Deschene
Jamie Tirrell Counselling
My name is Jamie Tirrell, and I’m a qualified integrative counsellor working with adults both online and over the phone.
Feeling anxious, overwhelmed, or unsure of your next step? Life can change in an instant, or burdens can pile up quietly over time. Together, we can unpack these challenges and help you move forward with clarity.
I work with adults experiencing anxiety, loss, relationship difficulties, and low self-esteem. Making sure to provide a safe, confidential and non-judgemental space for you, my aim is to help you through whatever you’re facing.
My practice is integrative. This means I combine different therapeutic approaches to match your unique needs. We will never be limited to a single, rigid method.
I gained my bachelors’ degree from Coventry University where I studied Integrative Counselling Theory & Practice and in the years since, worked with many client while adhering to standards of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP).
If you’re seeking help for yourself or have any questions, please don’t hesitate to get in touch.
Affordable & flexible
I try to keep fees low to ensure more people are able to access private counselling at a price that suits them.
Inclusivity for all
All areas are openly welcomed within sessions, including LGBTQ+ counselling, gender dysphoria, non-monogmy, sex problems, race & racial identity, and discrimination to name a few.
Integrative counselling
Integrative counselling allows me to include various aspects of counselling within our sessions. CBT, psychodynamic therapy, mindfulness practices, creative/play therapy, Gestalt therapy, emotion-focused therapy and person-centred therapy are just a few that might be visited.
